ACTIVITIES OF MUTT |
Sri Kaumara Mutt has been engaging in many fold activities. The Present head Thavathiru Kumaragurubara Swamigal is the Hon’y President for State Muruga Devotees Federation and also he is the head of so many temple renovation committees.
This Mutt is advising the devotees in the cause of temple re-construction and renovation of old temples, Poojas and Hindu tenets.
Religious discourses on Hindu religion and culture being conducted by the Mutt are widely acclaimed by the devotees.
The Mutt arranges for the performance Kumbabisekams (Consecration ceremony) in temples, guides the Veda and Agama pandits in Temple rituals, Poojas etc.
There are plans to open a Thirumurai school so that future generation will inherit the Knowledge of Thirumurai’s sung by our Nayanmars.
Mutt also tries to open a Veda, Agama School and an Asylum for aged cows because Cow- slaughter is a great sin as per Hindu theology.
This Mutt also tries to publish rare Tamil Religious books. Also, it conducts Religious and literary seminars. This Mutt also arranges for Religious tours on regular intervals.
